Statistical Literacy
This course aims to give participants an understanding and appreciation of basic statistics methods and concepts.
Topics that will be covered in this course include:
- Experiments versus Surveys
- Basic Experimental Design
- Statistical Nomenclature
- Graphical & Numerical Data Summaries
- One & Two Sample Statistical Tests
- Confidence Intervals
- Analysis of Contingency Tables
The course will consist of 4 lectures and 4 tutorial / practical sessions. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
The cost for this course is $300 (excluding GST), and a 10% discount applies for registrations of 3 or more people per group, booked at the same time
